Catherine A. Strickler

Catherine joined the firm in 2005 as a lateral associate in the Corporate Litigation and Counseling group.  Her practice is focused primarily in the Delaware Court of Chancery and involves the representation of corporations, directors and stockholders in fiduciary duty litigation, corporate takeover litigation and statutory proceedings under the Delaware General Corporation Law.  She is a co-author of: ABA Annual Review of Developments in Business and Corporate Litigation, “General Partnerships, Joint Ventures, Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies,” 2003 and 2004; and, Bank and Corporate Governance Law Reporter, “Sox Appeal: Is The Delaware Judiciary Heightening Its Standards For Director Independence and Good Faith?” Vol. 32 (August 2004).  A native of Wilmington, Catherine also serves on the board of a local non-profit and provides pro bono services through the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate.
