Catherine is a member of the firm's Corporate Litigation and Counseling group. Her practice is focused primarily in the Delaware Court of Chancery and involves the representation of corporations, directors and stockholders, and their alternative-entity counterparts, in fiduciary duty litigation and statutory proceedings under Delaware law. She also litigates business-related matters in Delaware’s state and federal courts, and has taken key roles on appeals to the Delaware Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She previously co-authored: ABA Annual Review of Developments in Business and Corporate Litigation, “General Partnerships, Joint Ventures, Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies,” 2003 and 2004; and, Bank and Corporate Governance Law Reporter, “Sox Appeal: Is The Delaware Judiciary Heightening Its Standards For Director Independence and Good Faith?” Vol. 32 (August 2004). A native of Wilmington, Catherine has served on the board of a local non-profit and provides pro bono services through the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate.
