Value-Oriented Billing

Ashby & Geddes believes that the best business relationships are built on real value added for both client and firm. And because we know there is no magic in measuring the value we add by the number of hours we spend, we screen our bills before they are sent.  We absorb into overhead time spent guiding less experienced lawyers, doing the extra round of research on a legal issue, and other items that we view as our cost of delivering our quality of advocacy and advice.

We seldom have client concerns about billing, but when we do, we approach those questions openly and with a view to deciding together whether the cost is commensurate with the value received.
